you're only 14...YOU ARE NOT AN ADULT!

Today is my daughter Gabrielle's 14th birthday....cry cry....smile  Where has the time gone?  I can still remember soooo vividly just holding her tiny little body in my arms...rocking her, singing to her....and now...well now I still try and hold her....lol  She is beautiful, and strong, a leader, an athlete, a dork, a super friend to her peers, loyal, trustworthy, smart, a mother-hen, "metal-mouth"...lol, a nancy drew/hardy boys book lover, a NON-twilight follower!, caring, kind, a creative mind, an organizer, a hard worker, stubborn, a thinker, she loves God....she is my "old soul".  I love you my Gabrielle.

Spilled milk...

This is so cool...I'm always looking for opportunity to write something...a children's book, poetry, some of my "profound" thoughts...lol but, I don't have the time to just sit and write and write...this totally allows me to at least get out little blips of something....woot woot!!!!  So this is on my mind this morning.  When is the last time you just let loose of your adult straight jacket and let yourself be inside your childrens world.  Try your hardest to see what they see, really-really think back to when you were a kid and how you felt to "just play".  Today, be a kid...play hard, USE-yes, actually use your imagination, create, just BE, love like they love, be innocent like they are, try and see the wonderment of life through their little, sweet eyes....and don't you dare stress if there is spilled milk!...and most of all...thank God that he has allowed us to be parents another day.
